I am an assistant professor of Clinical Psychology at Rochester Institute of Technology. My research interests take a developmental psychopathology approach to investigating sleep and circadian rhythms as risk factors for psychopathology in youth. I also enjoy working with any and all types of data because it gives me an excuse to work in R. I seek opportunities to be able to support others to meet their goals. Through teaching and mentoring I aim to create equity and increase access in psychological science and clinical practice. I am a huge advocate of Open Science practices and principles.
I am a second-year MS student at RIT in the Experimental Psychology program. I have been an RA in the PADME lab for two years now! Most current research interests are biological correlates of addiction, and developmental trajectories leading to pathology and alcohol abuse! After my master's education, I plan to pursue a PhD in addiction neuroscience or Clinical Child Psychology. When I am not doing research or in class, I enjoy spending time with my cats and reading! 🙂🐱
A former Clinical Psychology graduate, Hreem is now a second-year MS student in the Experimental Psychology program. His research interests are primarily in the domain of creativity and affect, but on most days he can be found dabbling in data analytics and coding. He is a self-appointed R wizard apprentice and a big advocate of Open Science. When he is not lost in the data and research rabbit hole, he can be found gaming or coming up with new dad jokes to share with everyone during the week!
I’m a Clinical and Family Psychologist with over five years of experience, and now I’m diving into research as a Master’s student in Experimental Psychology at RIT. As part of the PADME Lab, I’m supporting projects on sleep and the placebo effect, and I’m especially excited about finding creative ways to use technology to better understand and support mental health. And outside of research, I can’t live without a good cup of coffee and a warm pandebono (a Colombian cheese bread) in the morning.
I’m a fourth-year undergraduate student in the psychology program. I’m focusing on the clinical and biopsychology tracks and am currently studying self-talk and perspective as a continuation of a summer research program and my senior project next semester. My goal is to apply for PhD programs in the future. Outside of the lab, I enjoy hiking, reading, and various arts and crafts.
